How your gift helps
As a non-profit, we rely on grants, donations, and the unwavering support of our community to keep our ensembles performing.
Here are just a few ways your charitable donation helps us maintain and grow our organization:
-
Gifts starting at just $20 allow us to offer scholarships for membership dues and uniform costs. This ensures that a musician’s seat in the band is determined by their passion, not their bank account.
-
One of the most tangible parts of our program is the music you hear. A single piece for a full concert band typically ranges from $50 to $150. Your contribution helps put new music in our folders.
-
Not every musician owns their own equipment. By keeping our inventory of wind and percussion instruments in peak condition, we ensure that "loaner" instruments are always available for those who need them.
We are excited and grateful to share that 3 new sousaphones will be available this year thanks to generous support from donors like you.
-
Our ensembles strive for a high caliber of musicality that reflects the immense talent of our musicians and artistic leadership. Your support ensures that our staff has the resources needed to lead us toward excellence and helps us secure performance spaces with the acoustics necessary to do justice to our collective sound.
-
Each year, our Governing Board balances our creative dreams against our financial reality. Every dollar donated represents "one more line item" we can move from the wish list to the stage.
